About us

The Vintage Sports Car Club of SA was formed in 1945 to cater specifically for Vintage Sports Cars and is one of the oldest motoring clubs in South Australia.  The “Sports Car” in our title refers to the competitive nature of the events which were conducted by the Club in the early years.

The passage of time has changed the focus of our Club as membership has become more mature, cars more valuable and parts much harder to obtain.  It now caters socially for people with a common interest in “old cars” and a broader range of vehicles are now accepted.

The Club conducts a range of motoring events throughout the year, averaging at least one each month.  It also includes several social events in its calendar.

An extensive reference library of motoring books and magazines is maintained by the Club, with the publications available for loan to members.

The Club also owns a 1926 Rugby 4 Tourer, which is conditionally available to members for Club runs and other approved events.

General Meetings of the VSCCSA are held at 7.30 pm (preceded by a meal at 6.30pm) on the last Friday of each month (except December), in the Combined Car Clubs club rooms at the Glandore Community Centre, Clark Avenue, GLANDORE.

Visitors are welcome.
